The availability of agricultural land areas in Italy constitutes a highly valuable USP for the development of Agri-PV power plants. On over 300 ha, GSC started the development of a pipeline of Agri-PV plants with a total capacity of more than 100 MWp. Grid connection permits have already been requested for the total pipeline and the in-house engineering team is working on the construction permits. 30 MWp will be constructed for the group’s own balance sheet, the remaining part will be constructed for trusted investors or exited at ready-to-build.
Backed by private investors, GSC is contracting further 800 – 1.000 ha of land to develop a second utility-scale pipeline of 400 MWp to be exited at ready-to-build status.
